As previously announced, local energy cooperatives have become partners in our wind energy joint venture, Noordzeker. One of them is Energie Samen, the national umbrella and interest group for energy cooperatives. In this video, their chairman Siward Zomer explains how local energy cooperatives are shaping the future of energy. 

Wind energy from the North Sea is an important additional source to meet local energy demand. Our Noordzeker joint venture focuses on energy from, for, and by the Netherlands. By allowing local energy cooperatives to participate, everyone in the Netherlands can benefit from offshore wind.
